Empire Holistic Concept on Trade and Services Limited (EHCTS Ltd)

This document sets out the terms on which Empire Holistic Concept on Trade and Services Limited ("EHCTS Ltd") supplies sunglasses and optical eyewear, wholesale and business-to-business services, and educational programmes, whether purchased through this website, our physical store, or our outreach representatives.
1. Preliminary Provisions
Empire Holistic Concept on Trade and Services Limited ("EHCTS Ltd" or "the Company") is a company incorporated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. These Terms and Conditions govern all transactions conducted through EHCTS Ltd's website, physical retail premises, and outreach or field sales activity, and apply equally to individual consumers, wholesale and business-to-business ("B2B") partners, and students enrolling in the Company's educational programmes.
By placing an order, making a purchase, or enrolling in a course, the customer or student is deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this document limits any right conferred on a consumer by operation of Nigerian law.
6. Prescription Eyewear
- Prescription eyewear is dispensed only against a valid, current prescription, by or under the supervision of a practitioner registered with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN).
- Customers ordering online are required to submit prescription details prior to order confirmation.
- In-store staff provide frame fitting and, where duly registered, basic sight screening; customers are referred to a registered optometrist or ophthalmologist for a comprehensive eye examination where required.
- Customers may request independent verification of their lenses against the prescription supplied, at no charge.

EHCTS Ltd supplies sunglasses and optical glasses, comprising non-prescription reading eyewear and prescription eyewear, through its online shop, physical store, and outreach sales channel.
- Each sunglasses listing states its UV protection rating and lens category.
- Each reading-glasses listing states its magnification (dioptre) strength.
- Imported eyewear offered for sale has cleared the Standards Organisation of Nigeria Conformity Assessment Programme (SONCAP) prior to distribution.
7. Wholesale & B2B Terms
EHCTS Ltd enters into wholesale and collaboration arrangements with opticians, retailers, resellers, and corporate partners. Onboarding requires verification of Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration, Tax Identification Number (TIN), and VAT registration status, and is formalised by way of a written agreement prior to the first bulk order.

Volume-based discount tiers are applied consistently to all partners meeting equivalent order thresholds. Recommended retail prices provided by EHCTS Ltd are indicative only and are not mandatory.

- All prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax at the applicable rate, currently 7.5%, unless stated otherwise.
- The price displayed at the point of order is the price payable; no additional charges are applied at checkout without prior disclosure.
- Payment is accepted by card, bank transfer, or point-of-sale terminal, processed through PCI-DSS-compliant Nigerian payment infrastructure. EHCTS Ltd does not retain full card details on its systems.
- An order confirmation and itemised sales record are issued for every transaction and are available on request.
8. Educational Services
EHCTS Ltd delivers Digital Classes, German Language Classes, and Business Upskilling Lessons, provided online, in person, or in a combined format.
- Each programme is accompanied by a published syllabus, schedule, and instructor profile in advance of enrolment.
- Tuition fees, payment schedule, and any additional costs are disclosed in full prior to payment, and a receipt is issued for each transaction.
- Fee revisions do not apply retroactively to students already enrolled in a paid cohort or course.
Withdrawal & Refunds
- A full refund may be requested within seven (7) days of enrolment, provided the course has not substantially commenced.
- Where a student withdraws after commencement, refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis in respect of content not yet delivered, less a reasonable administrative charge disclosed at enrolment.
- Where EHCTS Ltd cancels or materially alters a course following enrolment, the student is entitled to a full refund or a complimentary transfer to an equivalent programme.
German Language Classes
Courses are structured in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), levels A1 to C2. Certificates of completion are issued by EHCTS Ltd and specify the CEFR level attained; such certificates do not constitute an externally accredited qualification (for example, Goethe-Institut or telc) unless expressly stated.
4. Delivery
- Delivery charges and estimated delivery timelines are disclosed prior to the completion of an order.
- Order tracking and customer support are available by email, telephone, or live chat throughout the fulfilment period.
- Custom prescription lenses require additional processing time for grinding and quality verification; the estimated delivery date will be confirmed at the point of order.
9. Data Protection
EHCTS Ltd collects and processes personal data, including name, contact details, payment information, and, in respect of optical purchases, prescription data, for the purpose of fulfilling orders and delivering educational services. All such processing is undertaken in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
- Personal data is processed only for the purpose for which it was collected, and for marketing solely where consent has been given; such consent may be withdrawn at any time.
- Prescription and health-adjacent data is treated as sensitive personal data, with access restricted accordingly.
- Data subjects may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data at any time.
- Payment data is processed through licensed, PCI-DSS-compliant gateways; EHCTS Ltd does not retain full card details.
Where a customer or student is located outside Nigeria (for example, an EU-resident student enrolled in a German Language Class), additional data protection standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation, may apply and are observed as a matter of policy.
5. Returns, Refunds & Warranty
Statutory Right to a Refund
Pursuant to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) 2018, a customer is entitled to a full refund where goods received are defective, unsafe, or fail to correspond with the description, sample, or representation on which the purchase was made — including where the customer had no opportunity to examine the goods prior to an online purchase. EHCTS Ltd does not operate, and does not recognise, a "no refund" policy.
Voluntary Exchange Provision
In addition to the statutory entitlement above, EHCTS Ltd offers a voluntary exchange or store-credit option, available for seven (7) days from the date of purchase, applicable to unworn, undamaged, non-prescription sunglasses and reading glasses returned in their original packaging with valid proof of purchase.
Custom Prescription Lenses
Prescription lenses are manufactured to individual specification. Once production has commenced, the voluntary exchange provision above ceases to apply; however, the statutory entitlement to correction or refund in respect of lenses that do not conform to the prescription supplied remains unaffected.
Implied Warranty of Quality
All products supplied by EHCTS Ltd are subject to the implied warranty of quality under section 132 of the FCCPA, requiring goods to be reasonably fit for their intended purpose, of satisfactory quality, and free from defect for a reasonable period, having regard to the nature of the goods. This warranty is in addition to, and does not displace, any manufacturer's warranty.
To initiate a return: please contact EHCTS Ltd with the relevant order reference (see Section 10). A response will be provided within two (2) business days.
10. Enquiries & Complaints
All enquiries relating to an order, an enrolment, or these Terms and Conditions should be directed to EHCTS Ltd using the details below. Complaints are acknowledged within two (2) business days and substantively resolved within fourteen (14) calendar days.
